THE MAYOR of Worcester has invited residents to join him for an evening of festivities at the annual Christmas concert.
Coun Alan Amos will be hosting the event at the Guildhall on Friday (December 12) which will include seasonal music, readings, light hearted items and a few numbers which ‘require audience participation’.
The Elgar Chorale are set to perform at 7.30pm and all the proceeds will go to the Mayor’s chosen charities, Forces Support and the Worcester Cathedral Charitable Fund.
Coun Amos said: “I hope that many people will come along to what is certain to be a wonderful evening of music and merriment and to help support these locally based charities, which do so much good for the community.”
