A MAN who died after being found in the water at Worcester Woods Country Park has been named by police.
Derek Pitman, 71, from Blackpole died at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital yesterday (Wednesday) after emergency services were called to the scene at about 8am.
After being rescued from the water, advanced life support was given by paramedics en route to the Royal but he was confirmed dead soon after arrival.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
