Man seriously injured after assault outside Worcester pub

A MAN has suffered serious injuries after an assault outside the Blackpole Inn in Worcester overnight between Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31.

The incident happened in the pubs car park between midnight and 1am.

A man in his 30s was seriously injured with a head wound and taken to hospital.

Two men, aged 20 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm.

They are both helping police with their enquiries.

DI Mark Walters of the Major Investigation Unit said: “We would like to appeal for any witnesses to this incident to come forward and help our investigation.




“We understand there was a charity event on at the Blackpole Inn last night so anticipate there will be people who may have seen the assault and can assist.”
