A man who was seen ‘acting suspiciously’ near a Worcester primary school did not commit an offence, say police.

An image was released yesterday (Tuesday) of a man standing on a footpath close to the fence at the back of Nunnery Wood Primary School in the Prestwich Avenue area of Worcester at 2.40pm on Wednesday, January 20

A police spokeswoman said: “Following our earlier appeal for a man spotted outside Nunnery Wood Primary School, a man has since handed himself into police.

“We are satisfied that no criminal offences took place.”
