Worcester Editorial 4th Aug, 2016 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

A MAN was racially abused and saw his car damaged in an attack on Wylds Lane in Worcester.

The 40-year-old victim was driving along the road at about 10.40pm last Sunday (July 31) when he noticed a man walking from the right hand side of the road. At the same time, a blue saloon type car was driving in the opposite direction, towards the victim’s car.

The man then carried on walking into the middle of the road and gestured for the victim to stop his car. He then kicked the victim’s car a number of times causing damage and scratches on the panelling.

It is then believed the man racially abused the victim.

The man is described as Asian, between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 7ins tall and of a stocky muscular build. He has short dark hair and facial stubble and is thought to be in his early twenties.

Officers are keen to speak to the driver and any passengers of the blue saloon type vehicle that was driving toward the victim at the time of the incident.

Anyone that may have any information which could help with the investigation is urged to contact officers in Worcester by calling 101 and quoting incident number 857s of Sunday, July 31.
