A MAN was left with ‘significant’ facial injuries after a broad daylight attack by a group of men in the city centre.

The incident happened on Thursday, October 30, about 1pm when the victim, 32, was walking on St Paul’s Street, near to St Paul’s Newsagents, and was approached by the attackers.

He was then assaulted by some of the men.

One of the offenders is described as white, in his 30s, short, of a large build and with short ginger hair.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or with further information to contact them on the non-emergency number 101 or by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
