Man assaulted outside city pub

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside a city pub.

The 43-year-old suffered bruising in the attack at 5.30pm on Saturday, April 23 outside the Goodrest pub in Barker Street.

Two male teenagers, aged 19 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Trainee Det Con Gina Humphris, from Worcester CID, would like to hear from anyone who was in the pub at the time of the incident or has any information which might help with her enquiries.




Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting incident 601S of April 23.
