CHARITY champions from Acorns Children’s Hospice were on hand to receive a cheque for £4,000 raised during a gala night at a Great Malvern hotel.
The cash was raised during a charity evening at the Mount Pleasant Hotel. Bingo and musical bingo were on the cards alongside a three-course dinner in the hotel’s Mulberry Tree restaurant.
A large raffle ensured the money continued to flood in with almost all of the prizes donated by local companies and suppliers from the surrounding areas. The night was rounded off in style with a disco with music from the 80s and 90s.
