A RALLYING call has gone out for Worcester retirees to join one of the city’s five Rotary clubs and give something back to the community.
Deputy Mayor of Worcester Coun Allah Ditta made the call after he was presented with his Deputy Mayor badge to go along with his long-service badge in 2016.
Rotary supports a host of local and international charities with members lending a hand at all of the major events in Worcester.
“It’s a worthwhile cause as this is a real opportunity for new people to come in and support local causes,” Coun Ditta said.
“We have five clubs in Worcester alone so there will be a local group in your part of the city.”
