M5 to be shut between Worcester and Bromsgrove in the coming evenings so work can be carried out

Worcester Editorial 23rd Jan, 2017   0

DRIVERS using the M5 between Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Worcester should be aware of the following roadworks being carried out by Highways England.

The northbound carriageway between Junction 6 (Worcester) and Junction 5 (Droitwich) will be shut between 8pm to 6am from tonight (Monday) until Thursday (January 26). It will include the Junction 6 northbound entry slip road.

The northbound carriageway from Junction 5 (Droitwich) to Junction 4a (Bromsgrove), including the Junction 5 northbound entry sliproad will also be shut between 8pm and 6am from today (Monday) to Friday (January 27).

The action is being taken so Highways England can carry out ‘major scheme works’ and diversion routes for both sections will be clearly signposted.
