Love reunited in Norris play

Rob George 7th Jun, 2019

A TALE of two lovers whose lives went in different directions is on offer when the Swan Theatre Amateur Company present ‘While We’re Here’.

The Barney Norris play will take to the stage at the Swan Theatre studio from Tuesday (June 11) to Saturday (June 15) at 7.45pm.

Eddie and Carol meet again on a park bench in a town full of memories and find something still burns between them.

Over five short acts, Barney Norris gives the audience intense bursts of conversation which gradually amount to deep character studies which delve into the complexities many of us face in our lives.

On the country’s southern margin where the towns give way to the English Channel, both characters search for the centre of their lives. Will they find a way to let go of the past for the sake of their futures?
