SUTCLIFFE and Co Insurance Brokers have unveiled a jaw-dropping piece of artwork at their head office in Foundry Street in Worcester (pictured) by the world famous and widely acclaimed artist Phlegm as part of this year’s Worcester Paint Festival.

The London based artist Phlegm, known for his self-published comics and unique street art style, has spent a week painting a headline wall at Sutcliffe & Co which is sure to become a highlight of the Worcester Paint Festival which was held last weekend.

A dedicated supporter of the Worcester Paint Festival, Duncan Sutcliffe, MD at Sutcliffe and Co Insurance Brokers said: “We have eagerly awaited Phlegm’s visit and with the final extraordinary piece of artwork now taking centre stage outside our office, it’s not hard to see why!

“It has been a pleasure to have Phlegm on site and I know that his painting will be the talk of the town for many weeks to come.”

Duncan adds: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Worcester Paint Festival for allowing us to be part of such a special event and of course the artist genius that is Phlegm for his outstanding piece of artwork.”

Kate Cox, Worcester Paint Festival Director said, “We’re so honoured to have Phlegm create a piece in our city. Me and my team have been huge admirers of his work for well over a decade and we are so pleased that Duncan and the team love this brand new headline wall. Thank you to all there for your support. “

Phlegm is often well known for creating surreal illustrations within a mystical visual narrative exploring the unreal through characterful creatures from his imagination.

Mostly in monochrome and full of intricate details, each piece forms part of a grand narrative that extends worldwide. He replicates black Indian ink and a dip pen technique to large scale with spray paint, his fantastical murals come to life within urban landscapes
