Law firm backing City

Worcester Editorial 18th Aug, 2017   0

A CITY law firm has invested in local talent of a different kind by lending its support to the city’s exiled football club.

Harrison Clark Rickerbys is sponsoring Worcester City FC for the coming season as well as celebrating the arrival at the club of Josh Harris-James, son of Worcester family law head Kevin Harris-James.

The club is currently looking for a new home closer to the city than its present Bromsgrove base.

Kevin Harris-James presented the sponsorship cheque to joint manager Lee Hughes after the club’s 3-0 victory on the opening day of the season and said: “I’m delighted that we can support our local club.

“I’m obviously proud of Josh’s achievements, but I’m also very proud to be able to invest in local talent in the city. I’m looking forward to a great season.”

Hughes said: “We very much welcome the firm’s support and we’re looking forward to the season.”

Josh Harris-James comes to the club via its youth team and Studley, Causeway United, Fairfield Villa and Cadbury Athletic. He started his career at Feckenham.
