THE STRENGTH shown by a family member in battling sarcoma will spur a Worcester man on as he tackles the Three Peaks Challenge.
Joe Whitbread is raising cash in aid of Sarcoma UK in this weekend’s charity challenge and will be limbering up with his close friend to bring in the money.
Sarcoma UK is a national charity which funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. It is the only cancer charity in the UK focusing on all types of sarcoma.
“In 2018 my auntie Sam was diagnosed with sarcoma. Seeing her continued strength battling against this disease has been my inspiration to complete a challenge to raise money to help her and others who have and continue to be affected by sarcoma.” Joe said
“I’m grateful to have my best friend Ben joining me in this challenge.”
