It's Coming Home, It's Coming Home, It's coming....Football's Coming Home!

KICK OFF is fast approaching in the biggest game for the England men’s football team for 55 years as they bid for Euro 2020 glory.

Standing in the Three Lions way are Roberto Mancini’s Italy team who have reached the final on the back of a staggering run of 33 games without defeat.

England have reached the final of a major football tournament for the first time since 1966 and we all know what happened on that glorious afternoon!

Fans across the city will be in full voice cheering Gareth Southgate’s men on as they bid to bring the trophy home.

Worcester’s Aston Villa fans will be hoping their talisman Jack Grealish has a part to play while Birmingham City fans are sure to be excited if 18-year-old former Stourbridge youngster Jude Bellingham takes to the field for the biggest game of his career so far.

But will football come home? Or will the dominant Italians tame the Three Lions? The game is live on the BBC and ITV now with kick off at 8pm.

Ahead of the game, the Worcester Observer has put together a playlist of football anthems to get you in the mood for kick off..

In the spirit of friendship, a nod to our Italian friends, remember Italia 90…..

You heard Jacob Rees Mogg in the Commons this week, why not enjoy how it was meant to be sung!

At times like this I ask myself ‘What would Des Lynam do?’

Let’s hope we score one more than Italy…

And last but by no means least…….

COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!!

PS….Let’s hope we don’t need this one but just in case…….
