PEOPLE are being urged to share their ideas for three play areas in Worcester.
The council secured £331,000, to transform the play areas at Horizon Hub, Ronkswood Hub and Medway Road.
A four-week public consultation is now underway, to determine where the funding would be best placed.
Vice Chair of Worcester City Council’s Place & Economic Development Committee, Hannah Cooper said: “This consultation gives residents the opportunity to tell us how they would like to see their local play area improved.”
All three of the hubs will have more natural play opportunities.
The new plans for Horizon Hub will include extending the existing play area and replacing the toddler play equipment.
Horizon Hub will also gain a new access point to the playground from Stanley Road.
Medway Road’s play area has been granted a five year strategy, with the Council developing play facilities for older children.
Proposed improvements at the Ronkswood Hub play area involve resurfacing the junior play area, replacing the surrounding log edging and adding a roundabout
Ms Cooper stressed the importance of Worcestershire residents feedback as she added: “It’s your chance to help shape the future of play provision at these three locations.”
She continued: “Once feedback has been gathered, play equipment specialists will be invited to submit tended to carry out the improvement work.”
Improvements should be completed in time for summer.

The deadline for comments is February 6.
