Handing over the cash

Worcester Editorial 18th Jul, 2018   0

A FUN PACKED year of fund-raising has seen Worcester Bosch chiefs hand over a share of £28,362 to two popular good causes.

The cash is made up of money raised by employees which was matched by the company to double the amount to ensure the Grace Kelly Ladybird Trust, which aims to raise awareness of cancer in children, and national charity, Cancer Research UK have an equal share from the pot.

The two charities were chosen by employees at Worcester Bosch in 2017, and the company embarked on a full programme of fund-raising.

From bake sales, dress down days and moustache growing to an adventurous Mud Run, which saw a team of 16 colleagues, including CEO, Carl Arntzen and Logistics Director, Shaun Mansbridge, plus members from sales, marketing, production and recycling, tackle woods, obstacles, lakes, fields and mud, the money raising efforts have been company-wide.
