WORCESTER-based Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust has been handed £65,000 from Global’s Make Some Noise to fund life-changing services.

The money granted to the trust will help fund their family support and enable life-changing benefits to families in the local community.

Make Some Noise has distributed grants totalling £2.5million to small charities and projects across the UK following its determined fund-raising efforts in 2022.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of listeners to Capital, Heart, LBC, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Capital XTRA and Gold, the Worcestershire charity has been handed the five figure boost to its vital work to support families facing childhood cancer.

Emma Williams from the trust said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive such a significant amount from Global’s Make Some Noise. This support will help us to continue to offer our vital family support service to families facing childhood cancer.

“Our family support service is growing each and every day, with more and more families across the region needing our support.

“We support emotionally, practically and financially and with such an amazing amount of funding such as this, we will be able to continue to be there at the hardest of times for families facing such a difficult journey”
