Gimme a good show

PARENTS turned into a bunch of ‘dancing queens’ at a Worcester school after watching pupils perform a popular musical.

About 150 people turned out to see Northwick Manor Primary School’s production of One Last Summer over two nights last week.

It saw Year Six pupils perform songs from Mamma Mia, including Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Gimme Gimme and Take a Chance on Me, which entertained parents.

Headteacher Sian Williams said: “It’s hard to believe these children are only 10 or 11 years old as a lot of them sang solos and the acting was brilliant.

“In both shows, audiences were on their feet singing and dancing when the children sang Waterloo which was their last song, and just showed how much everyone enjoyed it.”
