A CROWLE charity was boosted by caring staff from West Midlands legal firm Thomas Guise who brought in more than £665 during a year of fund-raising.
The firm chose Grace Kelly Ladybird Trust as their chosen cause and collected cash through a host of events including a sponsored couch to 5k run, guess the sweets, raffle for a Christmas hamper and a bake off.
The Grace Kelly Ladybird Trust works to raise awareness of childhood cancers and to provide grants for research into rare paediatric childhood tumours, including malignant rhabdoid tumours.
Solicitor Zoe Dale said: “The funds raised will make a significant difference to raising awareness of childhood cancers, which can affect a staggering 1 in 500 children before the age of 15.”
Grace’s mum Jennifer set up the trust and said: “I want to thank the whole team for their efforts both in fund-raising but also in terms of sharing our post and raising awareness of the charity.”
