FAMILIES across Worcester will have the chance to get active and have fun this half term with a variety of free multi-sports activities.
Led by Freedom Leisure on behalf of Worcester City Council, the week of free activities will run from Monday, February 15 to Friday, February 19 from 11:30-5pm across the city.
From tennis, football and cricket to frisbee, ball games and parachute games, the activities will be tailored to suit all ages and abilities and help the youngsters develop their skills.
Whilst older children will have the opportunity to get active and play sport with their friends, qualified and experienced coaches from The Albion foundation will deliver the sessions and will be on hand to motivate and support all participants.
“We are excited to be offering an exciting range of free sports to help local children beat the boredom this half term,” said Freedom Leisure Regional Development Manager Hannah Cox.
“The multi-sports activities will give children and families the perfect opportunity to try out new sports right on their doorstep, whilst making some new friends along the way.”
To take part, participants simply need to just turn up on the day and sign in. Under 16s must have parental consent and under 8s must have a parent or responsible adult present to take part.
