Four charged following drugs raids in Ronkswood

A NUMBER of people have now been charged with drugs offences following a series of dawn raids in Ronkswood.

The raids took place at two properties on Lichfield Avenue and Newtown Road last Thursday (April 7) when 18 officers stormed the buildings.

At the first address a quantity of cash was found along with evidence of the supply of class A drugs. And at the second property a small quantity of what is believed to be heroin was found.

Four people have now been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, conspiracy to supply cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.




Kamil Liban, aged 19, of Evington Street, Leicester; Abdirahim Omar Said, aged 20 of no fixed address; Abdlmahad Adoa, aged 20 of no fixed address and a 17-year-old boy of no fixed address all appeared before Worcester Magistrates Court last Saturday (April 9).

The three men were remanded in custody to appear before Worcester Crown Court on Monday, May 9. And the 17- year-old boy was released on conditional bail until the same date.


A 33-year-old woman, a 43-year-old man and a 57-year-old man who also arrested during the raids have been released on police bail until May pending further investigation.
