A KIND-HEARTED Worcester law firm has donated £350 to a Malvern animal charity as part of its ongoing fund-raising efforts.

Staff at MFG Solicitors, which has offices on The Tything, held several events throughout the past 12 months for the Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter (WARS) which takes in abandoned and mistreated animals who are in need of care or medical treatment.

The legal firm’s fund-raising events included numerous staff raffles, as well as collecting blankets, towels, food and toys for the charity which is based in Newland.

Kirsten Bridgewater, partner and head of MFG’s CSR committee said: “Our staff have made a great contribution to our charitable giving in the past 12 months.

“Their efforts and generosity have been superb and I hope this will help such a brilliant charity to care and re-home the dogs and cats they take in. “The team rely heavily on donations for a variety of items including food and bedding.

“I am so pleased we’ve been able to do our bit.”
