Firm gearing up to help racing cyclist

A WORCESTER legal firm are sponsoring a rising professional cyclist as he prepares to compete in a series of elite races worldwide.

Mfg Solicitors on the Tything will help support Sam Williams over the next year as he competes in races across the world and pushes to make the six-strong One Pro Cycling squad, for the showpiece Tour of Britain and Tour of Denmark circuits later this year.

The 2012, the Tour of Britain was watched by 400,000 people a day on live TV, plus a further half a million for the highlights.

Through its corporate and social responsibility committee, mfg Solicitors backs a variety of charitable causes across the county every year.




The firm also takes an active part in free will-making schemes with St Richard’s Hospice and Kemp Hospice.

Mr Williams said: “I’m delighted mfg Solicitors are helping me this year as I step up to Pro Continental level with One Pro Cycling.


“They have an exciting worldwide racing calendar and I’ll be working hard to contribute to the success of the team. I look forward to sharing my experiences with mfg Solicitors and their clients through the One Pro Cycling website, which will keep our supporters fully up to date on the team’s progress.”
