ELEVEN fire crews tackled a massive farm barn blaze in Worcester which began in the early hours of Sunday morning (October 11).
Firefighters from Worcester, Droitwich and Malvern, were involved in the battle which lasted several hours.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called at 12.56am to the fire in the outbuildings on land on Bromyard Road which contained agricultural machinery and 250 tonnes of straw.
Crews used water jets to extinguish the fire and to prevent it spreading to neighbouring buildings.
The fire was finally put out later that morning and some of the firefighters remained to damp down the area and ensure it did not start up again.
At the moment, the cause of the fire is unknown. Fire investigators have been sent to the scene but have not yet completed their report.
