WORCESTER residents interested or already working in the medical industry are being invited to Worcestershire Royal Hospital’s recruitment day.

Registered nurses, advanced nurse practitioners, midwives and current or aspiring healthcare support workers are being invited to the event this Saturday (January 21), in the education centre at Alexandra Hospital, Redditch.

Visitors will be able to chat to staff and get information on opportunities within medicine, surgery, women’s and children’s services, theatres, outpatients and clinical support roles.

There are also two positions available for interview on the day, including a Band 5 staff nurse position and a Band 5 theatre practitioner role.

Sarah Needham, lead nurse for education at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “Visitors will have the chance to come and see what fabulous job opportunities are available across our county’s hospitals.

“It builds on the successful recruitment campaigns we’ve recently held for other roles and we’re looking forward to welcoming potential candidates.

“Whether you are working for another trust and looking for a change, thinking of coming back to the profession or wondering about embarking on a caring role within the NHS, this event will have something for you.”

The event will run from 10am to 2pm and include free parking and refreshments.
