PUPILS are preparing for an explosive evening when their school stages its annual fireworks show this week.
Gates at Red Hill Primary School will open at 6pm on Friday (November 7) ahead of the display which will begin at 7pm.
Organisers are expecting another successful event, which will include music, a bar and BBQ as well as snacks and glow sticks available for the children.
The money raised last year went to providing new outdoor furniture and learning equipment, visits from The History Man, coach trips and wet weather games for all year groups.
The firework display will again be carried out by Jubilee Fireworks, while Pro-
Fascia Roofline and Windows Ltd and local insurance broker, Sutcliffe and Co, have also pledged their support.
Advanced tickets cost £4 for adults and £2.50 for children, while people will have to pay a £1 extra if they buy them on the night.
