A DUMPER truck being towed on the M5 was held down by a single ratchet strip, police have revealed.
Officers from West Mercia Police’s Operations Patrol Unit revealed the images in a post on social media.
Police stopped the vehicle on the motorway in Worcestershire today (Tuesday).
Only one 500kg ratchet strap kept it held down.
A spokesperson said: “The driver was educated and another strap added and both adjusted to give improved points of contact and load security.”
