ONE OF the city’s busiest car parks is now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Crowngate Shopping Centre’s multi-storey car park previously closed overnight, but bosses have decided to open it permanently with the popularity of the new food quarter.
Ramsay Floyd, CrownGate centre manager, said the changes which came into effect Tuesday (July 1) were made after users asked them.
“We see more shoppers and visitors enjoying the evenings and socialising into the early hours,” he said.
“It is important to offer people the option to leave their vehicle in a safer environment, whilst providing a car park that has been awarded for its lighting, effective surveillance, cleanliness and quality management, for people to return to anytime of night.”
