FIREFIGHTERS from Worcester and Malvern were among those on hand to rescue a woman from the River Severn near Worcester Bridge.
Crews were called to the scene at 12.48pm this afternoon (Saturday) to reports of the woman entering the water.
A boat was launched from Diglis and water first responders mobilised to Weir Lane.
The casualty was left in care of paramedics from the Midlands Air Ambulance.
