LET there be light – Crafty youngsters got to make their own autumnal lanterns at Worcester Cathedral.
Families could drop by during the half-term holidays and make their lanterns ready to brighten the darker evenings.
Meanwhile for those with a head for heights, there were tower climbs to take in the views from the top of the cathedral.
And back on terra firma, there was the chance for visitors to step into College Hall and explore the 13th-century sculpture of Christ in Majesty, once overlooking the monks as they dined. This rare opportunity offered a deeper look into the cathedral’s rich monastic heritage.
