YOUNG shoppers at the Crowngate showcased their creative side with crafting fun at the launch of a new kids’ club.
More than 300 children and their families flocked to the Pod near Iceland to enjoy half-term activities including plant pot and tote bag decorating.
The venue is open for youngsters aged from three to nine-years-old and centre manager Mike Lloyd said the new venue would offer activities for parents and children to enjoy.
“We were very impressed with all the youngsters who created and decorated their very own plant pots to take home,” he said.
“The second craft session we held involved giving recycled tote bags a new lease of life. Guests also received a bag of seeds to plant in their garden as well as make a pledge to help the environment, which will be displayed on the community tree in the Pod.”
