THE FESTIVE season will officially get underway next week when the city’s Christmas lights are switched on.
The entertainment kicks off outside The Guildhall at 4pm on Thursday (November 13) with a night of excitement and surprises in store – all supplied by Youthcomm Radio.
Proceedings being with a special performance by Worcestershire Rock Choir which is notorious for its renditions of pop, gospel, motown and chart hits.
There will also be three local bands taking to the stage to provide a cocktail of musical madness – all leading to the big switch on.
Once the lights are gleaming brightly in the city centre the entertainment doesn’t stop as the Worcester Rock Choir lead an adults versus children karaoke competition and the tourist information centre will be running a lucky dip.
