A LEADING Labour councillor has called on local residents to keep their neighbourhood tidy.
Coun Ceri Stalker made the heartfelt plea after collecting a large amount of rubbish outside the shops on Cranham Drive.
Among the rubbish picked up was used face masks and Coun Stalker said there are no excuses to litter.
“Litter bins are provided and they were not full,” she said.
“Please take your rubbish home and bin or recycle it responsibly. Keep your neighbourhood clean and safe for everyone.”
