Concern grows for welfare of missing man

Worcester Editorial 9th Feb, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

CONCERN is growing for a missing man who has not been seen for six weeks.

Jason Jeffries left his home in Hanley Road, Malvern, on Monday, December 29, to travel to Worcester but did not return.

It is believed Mr Jeffries had mentioned wanting to visit Bristol for the New Year, but police now think he stayed in the Worcester Travelodge in Cathedral Plaza yesterday (Sunday).

Officers have said they are growing increasingly concerned for the 32-year-old’s welfare and are therefore urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them as soon as possible.

Mr Jeffries is white, of a medium build and about 5ft 11ins tall, with shoulder length blonde hair.

At the time he went missing, he is thought to have been wearing black trousers, a black t-shirt with a blue check jacket and a black cap along with a green and black poncho.

Anyone who has seen Mr Jeffries, or know of his whereabouts, should contact West Mercia police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
