WORCESTER’S Got 2 Sing Choir joined more than 800 friends from across the Midlands in a sell-out concert at the Birmingham Symphony Hall to help raise £5,617 for the Midlands-based Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer (LFBC) charity.
The concert, which featured two performances of popular hits and songs from the shows, included a guest performance from LFBC’s ‘Well-being Community Choir,’ whose members have been affected by breast cancer. They joined the Got 2 Sing Choir on stage to perform the 1970s classic soul hit ‘Lean on Me.’
The show’s encore ‘Make Your Own Kind of Music’ summed up the concert for many and the audience joined in to rapturous applause from the choir
