WORCESTER residents are being invited to a behind the scenes tour at a city library.
To coincide with ‘Museums at Night’, Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service is offering residents the chance to have an evening tour at The Hive tonight (Wednesday).
The tour will take in some of the highlights of the archive collections, including a letter from the Titanic, a book of 18th century maps and Shakespeare’s marriage bond.
Su Vale, outreach assistant, said: “People always enjoy our behind the scenes tours and seeing places which are usually off limits.
“They also enjoy being able to see some of the highlights of the archives, such as Shakespeare’s marriage bond. This is a great opportunity for those who can only visit in the evenings.”
The event runs from 7pm to 8pm and tickets cost £5.
