AN ELDERLY man was dragged from a bus stop and assaulted by three men during a vicious attack in Barbourne.

The 68-year-old victim was sitting close to Pedlars Bike Shop about 2am on Sunday, September 14, when he was approached by the group.

They demanded money from the man before he was dragged out of the shelter and punched in the face. The offenders walked off in the direction of Northwick.

Police have released an image of the attackers and have described the main offender as white, early 20s, of slim build, about 5ft 6ins, short fair or brown hair which was shaven, wearing a cream coloured short-sleeve buttoned shirt and dark coloured jeans.

The others were also described as white, in their early 20s and wearing similar clothing.

Anyone who recognises the image or with further information on the incident can contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
