POLICE are continuing to ask for help to identify a man who died following “a suspected medical episode” in Worcester.
The man was found by an off duty officer, on a bench on Grand Stand Road near to Worcester Canoe Club and the River Severn at around 7.45am on Wednesday March 11.
Despite best efforts from medical staff, he passed away in hospital.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
West Mercia Police have now released an image of the man captured on CCTV in the hours before he died in the hope someone will recognise him.
He is described as white, around 5’7” tall and believed to be in his 60s.
He was of slightly larger build with blue eyes, grey receding hair, a short to medium length grey beard and a grey/brown moustache.
He did not have any significant marks, scars or tattoos and was not wearing any jewellery. He was found with a pair of walking sticks.
Despite extensive efforts, police have not yet been able to identify him.
