Cave art inspires young students

Rob George 9th Apr, 2019

YOUNGSTERS are being invited to create their own cave art during an event at The Hive.

A drop-in session suitable for children aged six-years-old and above to create works of art to take home will be run during the Easter holidays.

Children will have the chance to be inspired by the history of the Ice Age in Worcestershire and learn about the animals and people who lived in the county. They can then create cave art and clay sculpture to take home, drawing inspiration from our ancient ancestors.

The event will be held next Thursday (April 18) from 10am to midday in the Children’s Library at The Hive and admission is £3 per child
