THE CAST of ‘Children of Eden’ took a break from rehearsals for a special photoshoot which saw the ‘animals’ get familiar with the local vegetation.

On a visit to Webbs at Wychbold on Saturday (April 9), Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society took the preparations for their upcoming production even further by trying out their hand-made costumes.

Children of Eden, which will be at The Swan Theatre from April 19 to 23, will see 36 on-stage singers and dancers, together with 15 off-stage singers take on the biblical epic story from Creation through to Noah and the Great Flood.

Webbs Chairman, Ed Webb said: “Our delightful Riverside Gardens make the perfect backdrop for the cast to become familiar with their costumes for this exciting production.

“As a Worcestershire company, championing local communities, we are very happy to be one of the production sponsors and wish them every success with the show.”

Bruce Wyatt of WODS said: “This production aims to provide something special with a family show that is rarely done in the amateur world of musical stage, but we are sure to rise to the occasion like many of our award winning productions in recent years.”

Tickets are available for Tuesday April 19 to Saturday April 23 from £15 at the Worcester Live Box Office on 01905 611427.
