Cards for everyone at Guildhall

Worcester Editorial 26th Oct, 2016   0

THE MAYOR of Worcester has opened the Guildhall’s annual charity Christmas card shop.

Coun Paul Denham opened the ‘Cards For Good Causes’ shop on the ground floor on Tuesday (October 25).

Around 70 per cent of card sales go towards both local and national charities.

Coun Denham said: “The Guildhall Christmas card shop has been very popular for several years and it’s a fantastic way of supporting local and national charities.

“I’d urge Worcester residents to make the shop their first choice for festive cards.”

The shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 4.30pm until Tuesday, December 20.

It will also open on Sunday, November 27 for the Victorian Christmas Fayre.

Call the shop’s co-manger Julie Smith on 07543 532311 for more information.
