A TALENTED photographer will have his work displayed in the House of Commons after he was shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Bryn Griffiths, of Broughton Hackett, has been put forward for the 5th annual EEF Lombard ‘Make it Britain’ photography competition for his three images of metallic paint and a Condor cycle.
He has been shortlisted in the professional photography category, sponsored by Canon.
The snaps will now go on display at an awards ceremony in the Commons on Thursday, December 11, where the winning photographer will be announced.
“I was delighted to find out I had been shortlisted for this award and knowing my work will be displayed in the House of Commons is the icing on the cake,” Bryn said.
“Manufacturing offers endless opportunities for creative, dramatic and eye-catching images, but the tricky part is really capturing its essence and therefor the imagination of the judges.”
The competition aims to raise the profile of British manufacturing by showcasing the industry’s creativity, diversity and heritage through photography.
