Royal Salutes will be fired in London today (Friday) at 1pm in Hyde Park by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery and at the Tower of London by the Honourable Artillery Company. One round will be fired for each year of The Queen’s life.

The flag over the Guildhall is being flown at half-mast in tribute to the late Queen.

Worcester Cathedral’s Bourdon bell will join others across the United Kingdom at midday today (Friday) and toll 96 times, one for each year of Her Late Majesty’s lif

Mayor of Worcester, Coun Adrian Gregson, said: “”The councillors and officers of Worcester City Council are deeply saddened at the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.”
