STUDENTS from Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College shared their love of books with their patron of reading Kevin Brooke as he launched his latest book ‘Max and Luchia’.
The students read a short piece either from their favourite books or something they had written themselves and were praised for their efforts in front of a large audience.
Mr Brooke was full of praise for all the students.
“Many parents stayed to celebrate the book launch too, which included homemade cakes. It was a pleasue to hear them speak so well,” he said.
