Black beauties still homeless

Worcester Editorial 30th Sep, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

CAT lovers are being encouraged to visit Worcester and Mid-Worcestershire RSPCA next weekend to pay a visit to some black beauties.

The Teme Acre Cattery on Old Road welcomes visitors on October 3 between 11.30am and 2.30pm as part of the RSPCA’s Black Cat Rehoming Day.

The centre is full of friendly felines who are black or black and white and have been in the care of staff for a long time and who, for unknown reasons, have so far been unable to find their forever homes.

Staff at the site said most visitors tend to want tortoiseshell, ginger or tabby cats, which leaved the centre’s black beauties ignored.

Sam and Jerry have been waiting a particularly long time for their new home as they need to re-homed together as they have grown to become the best of friends.

The five-year-old boys are just two examples of loveable furry faces who are waiting for a forever home.

Visit www.rspca-worcester.co.uk for more information and details of the animals who need re-homing.

For more information about adopting one of their cats or the Black Cat Day, please call Pamela on 01905 841354 or Geraldine on 01886 822083.
