THIS is little Romee Gorman from Worcester who is the first entrant in this year’s Worcester Observer Baby Photo Competition.
Entry to the contest is free. Simply take your child to professional portrait photographer Andrea Powell who is taking pictures in Unit 24 (formerly Hype) in Reindeer Court every day until next Wednesday (September 24) from 10am to 4.30pm except on Sunday.
Every child photographed will be entered into the contest and a shortlist drawn up in two age categories of 0 to 17 months and 18 to three-years-old, which will be published in a future edition of the Observer and the winners chosen by public vote.
The winner in each category will receive a 20in x 16in canvas wall portrait of your child.
There will also be the opportunity to buy pictures but you are under no obligation to do so.
*Please note, in last week’s Observer we said there would be runners up prizes, but this year there will in fact only be prizes for the winners.
So make sure you get voting when the shortlist is announced early next month and give your little treasure the chance to be crowned our winner.
