A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of possessing Class B drugs following a successful drug raid.

Officers from the Warndon Safer Neighbourhood Team searched an address in Randwick Drive at 8.55am on Friday (August 14).

A quantity of what is thought to be cannabis bush and rolled cannabis joints were found and seized.

A woman in her forties was arrested and has since been bailed while enquiries are ongoing.

The warrant to search the property was granted by officers from the SNT, Warwickshire Force Tasking Team and Fortis Housing.

Sgt Simon Hallam of Warndon SNT said: “This positive outcome has followed on from concerns being raised by local residents and is an illustration of police and local housing working together.”
