Appeal for witnesses of serious collision near Worcester

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a head-onĀ collision near Worcester left a woman with serious injuries.

The incidentĀ happened about 1.30pm on Sunday January 17 on the A4103.

A red BMW was travelling towards Bransford when it was in a collision with a red Mercedes which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Mercedes, a woman in her 50’s, was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious leg injuries.




The driver of the BMW, a man in his 20’s, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with suspected minor injuries.

PC Benjamin Wharton said: “There would have been many people using the road at this time on Sunday who may have witnessed what happened.


“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen these vehicles prior to the collision.

“You can call us on 101 quoting incident number 270s of 17 January.”
