A 22-YEAR-OLD man remains in hospital after a serious assault on Wylds Lane over the weekend.
Officers are appealing for information following the attack between 11pm on Saturday (November 23) and 1am on Sunday (November 24) which left the victim with ‘serious’ injuries.
Police confirmed they have increased patrols in the area as a result of the attack.
Det Chief Insp Andy Bailey said: “Whilst we acknowledge that this is a very serious incident I would like to reassure the local community we are working hard to apprehend those responsible for this assault.
